In de loop van de jaren merkte ik dat honden voor mij veel meer zijn dan alleen gezelschap. In contact met hen gebeurt iets echts. Ze voelen haarfijn aan wat er speelt, spiegelen zonder oordeel en laten zien wat er is, nog voordat wij het zelf onder woorden kunnen brengen.<br \/><br \/>In mijn werk ben ik steeds meer gaan vertrouwen op dat contact. Op aanwezig zijn, kijken en luisteren naar wat zich laat zien, bij de hond \u00e9n bij de mens. Ik heb me verdiept in hondengedrag en in het werken met mensen, en ontdekte hoe sterk die twee met elkaar verbonden zijn.<br \/><br \/>Bij Hondwikkeling werk ik met mensen en hun honden door samen te kijken naar wat er gebeurt in het dagelijks leven. Niet door meteen te willen ingrijpen of corrigeren, maar door ruimte te maken om te begrijpen wat gedrag vertelt. De hond helpt daarbij als spiegel en als ingang om weer contact te maken met jezelf.<br \/>In mijn begeleiding staat rust centraal. Wanneer er genoeg ruimte is en niets hoeft te worden geforceerd, ontstaat er vertrouwen.
